About the Instructor

photograph of Dennis D. RinehartAfter teaching 1000's of students, I have learned what students need to know to learn the art of taxidermy. I have mounted for sportsmen, museums, and schools. Mounts done by the students of American Institute of Taxidermy under my supervision have won numerous awards in competitions. I have been featured in sports magazines, TV sport shows, and have given numerous presentations and demonstrations for Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, White Tail Unlimited and other organizations. I am now sharing this knowledge, my 40 years in the field of taxidermy completing over 35,000 professional mounts, in these taxidermy programs for you to learn taxidermy in your own home.

The secret you need to know to be successful in the art of taxidermy is quality instruction. In these programs I become your personal instructor in your own home. I will take you step-by-step from skinning to finishing using clear and detailed demonstrations and instructions. My experience and skills as a taxidermist and instructor will teach you to successfully complete a beautiful and professional looking mount.
