  • Manikin selection, manikin preparation, mounting, do necessary repairs and cover imperfections of mount

  • Finish work:
  • The instructor will demonstrate how to finish their mount because it isn't completely dry.

  • Business lectures at various times.
 
   
 

Class Requirements:

 
  • Each student will mount an animal no larger than a coyote
  • A natural habitant base will be made for the mount.
  • Mounting a rug will be demonstrated in each class.

Specimens: Student may bring their own specimens (provided that they are properly cared for) or obtain specimens at a cost from American Institute of Taxidermy.

   

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION
After completion of the each taxidermy course, a Certificate of Completion is given to the student.
